1. Quaker Ridge Golf Club (Scarsdale)
Quaker Ridge Golf Club is a private course located in Sacrsdale, New York. The course was completed in 1918 and has remained relatively unchanged since its construction, aside from minor repairs and bunker restorations. In 2008, Golf Digest rated Quaker Ridge the 30th best course in the United States. The course was also ranked 64th in the world in 2007 by Golf Magazine. Known for its narrow fairways and fast greens, Quaker Ridge is an absolute joy to play!

2. Hampton Hills Golf and Country Club (Northhampton)
Built in 1965 by Francis J. Duane, the course at Hampton Hills reflects an inherent respect for the natural beauty of the East End of Long Island. 4. Engineers Country Club (Rosylyn Harbor)
The 210-acre course in Roslyn Harbor, New York was designed by English architect and golf professional Herbert Strong. Publications from the early days of the club described it as “a bag of tricks,” but the course was soon recognized as one of the finest in the country. Built in 1896, the course has been revised several times over the past 123 years. In 2012, the Fazio Design Group rebuilt the green complexes, giving Nassau some of the finest green surfaces in the country. 2. Great Rock Golf Club Opened in 2001, Great Rock Golf Club is one of the newer golf clubs in Long Island but it feels much older thanks to its scenic landscape of rolling green hills covered with mature forests. The mountainous landscape provides plenty of elevation changes that make it difficult to find a flat lie. At 6,254 yards, the course is short but it is still a challenging round with narrow, tree-lined fairways that demand accuracy.

5. Turning Stone Shenendoah, Turning Stone’s original eighteen, has been rejuvenated after a 2016 rerouting and renovation project that saw the creation of seven new holes. Designer Rick Smith came back to do the recent work on this playing field that alternates between wide-open spaces, wetlands areas, and parkland areas sheltered by woodlands. This course has been servicing golfers since 2001 and is well known. Its popularity is not without good reasoning, Saratgoa Natoional is a beautiful golf course. Every blade of grass is in perfect condition. The staff is excellent and the course is challenging and fair.
